Rear third brake light

RE: Rear third brake light
You dont replace the strip, you replace the LED bulbs. If one goes out they all should be replaced. Get in your trunk and uplug the green clip which is the wiring harness. Push up and out and the clips will let loose and the part literally falls into your lap. There are 2 plastic clips on each end opposing one another. Carefull pry the large end up with a small flat blade screwdriver and the front lense (red) will come off. Then, simply pull each bulb straight out and replace. They are a $1.50 at the dealer a peice and ifI remember there are around 9-10 bulbs. Reverse procedure and you are done. The bulbs, if replaced one by one, will keep buring out because lower voltage caused by the burnt out bulb causes premature wear so when you plug a new bulb in, theincrease in voltage across the string causes multiple bulbs to fail over time.

Here are some photos...maybe someone can outline what I need to do.
