How can I test a turn signal relay for function/failure?
Sorry if this question has already been posted, but I couldn't find the answer. My g/f's turn signals wont work, fuses are fine. Hazards still work. Bulbs are fine. At this point I assume it is the relay switch, but I have no idea wher it is located. I drive a [sm=hail.gif]1970 Dodge Dart Swinger. It is a Wright Flyer compared to the modern space shuttles you folks are driving. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx

How can I test turn signal relay function/failure?
Appearantly I didn't think far enough ahead. Is the hazard button attached to the actual relay? Do either of these seem consistant with an Audi relay switch part number: #8D0 941 509 H ? or
PA 6 GF30 ? Also, how can I check it to see if it is the culprit? I have a digital multi-meter.

Glad to see you're online... I've been sifting through the electrical issue posts and finding a lot of situations similar to mine. My 01 A4 horn and turn signal won't work... fuses are fine. Seems related to the steering column, because horn works ok when activating the alarm. Maybe a relay switch? Are you aware of any electrical schematics online or have any ideas? Thanks as always!

It will take me a few minutes to look things up. In the mean time, why don't you spary some contact cleaner on the turn signal switch and see if there is just gunk in there
2000 horn relay in in the relay box unker the driver side knee bolster. It should be the relay number 1, he one farthest to the left.
Don't have info for 2001.

I have the SAME problem on my newly purchased 01 A4. The hazards will work
but if I try to put the blinkers on left or right they wont go on! Every few rides though
they actually do work for a second..... weirdest thing! Any idea whats wrong? Horn does
work fine.. hmm?
