Hello, everytime when I turn on my car, the driver seat on my car has a little bit of shaking, the car's performance and everything is fine, but it's just annoying that it's shaking, and I want to fix it at the minimum cost if possible, but when my car is moving, everything is fine, and no shaking at all, however, when I come to a stop sign or red night, and make a complete stop, it also has a bit of shaking too, I don't know what's causing this, and what's needs to be replaced, anybody have any info on this???

My front passenger seat, the virtical part shakes back and forth. it seems to be loose at the bottom where its held together to the other part, but i dont know where.

its annoying because it rattles and shakes and it gets on your nerve, just like my glovebox!!!

Audi wont fix it becasue its wear/tear. ****** aholes.

 

I could pretty much sure that the cat converter is causing the problem, but I need more info on how to replace the cat converter, and where to buy one, no dealer for me......

 

just go to any muffler shop and they will tell you if it is bad and if it is they can replace it, you don't need to buy one from the dealer.

 

there are plastic components in the seat mounting that need to be replaced...i bought the kit for a few bucks from ecstuning, but installation isn't worth having a solid seat...the only time i notice it is when i first get into the car, the seat will rock back slightly...one of these days when i find a good deal on some used leather seats, i'll replace the mounts at the same time...imo, it's not worth the trouble to fix it

 

I have a small "shift" in my drivers seat on turns sometimes and it always feels like something is sliding around under the seat or something and now i have this compulsive habbit of reaching back there, swatting at nothing trying to see if there is something like a water bottle rolling around.. Im convinced it is something inside the seat because i never actually feel or see the seat actually move when this happens.

 

This normally indicates a drinking problem...

 

Yeah, damn empties rolling around in the backseat always confuses me after a long road trip...

 

from roadies to empties...a short sweet trip....

 

does it do this when your sitting in it? do you fill it with premium?
